Role
This is a leading role in the ongoing development of a world-class Consumer Lending business that is aiming to change lending for the better by becoming the UK’s most trusted and responsible Fintech business. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an analyst to develop within a rapidly growing organisation. The collections strategy team is responsible for optimising their collections strategies.
Responsibilities
- Execute collections, debt sale or CAIS processes to a high standard of quality.
- Design and produce MI to monitor portfolio performance against objectives and budget.
- Supporting the rest of the Collections strategy with data analysis and strategy changes.
Ensuring all strategies/processes responsible for are compliant with external regulatory requirements and internal risk appetite, working with Conduct Risk as needed.
You
- STEM Degree level education preferred but not required.
- Highly competent in the use of analytical tools, including SQL
- Experience with designing strategies and processes using subject matter knowledge and data analysis Proven track record in effective management of Champion/Challenger testing
- Experience using R for data analysis and/or decisions
- Deep understanding of statistical models. (Scorecards)
- Good understanding of Enterprise Risk Management
- Strong presentation skills including ability to explain complex strategies/data.
- Excellent leadership skills, embedding a ‘customer first’ attitude across all areas of collections strategy and maintaining a motivated and productive team.
- Passionate about the power of data to drive better business outcomes for our customers.
- Extremely self-motivated, enthusiastic, and keen to learn.
